Johnny, little man that he is.

Workin' in the yard.
Took this shot himself.

Self-portrait. Can you say "Cheese"? In a big way!

Muscle Cars

I was reading a book about different types of cars during our "school time" the other day, and pointed to one and said "See that? That one's a muscle car!". John's face instantly lit up - "Hey! Just like me!! I'm a muscle car!" Then he proceeded to show off his arm muscles.
What a guy... I love him so much.

Johnny and His Kitties

I took this picture of John with one of the newest kitties out at my parents' place. He is just crazy about all his cats - it's really cute the way he talks to them and has special names for each one! I am amazed at how gentle he is with handling the little ones especially, and the care he takes to make sure they're comfortable.
What a precious guy, and what a cute kitten!
(If anyone is looking for a good cat or kitten, please comment and I'll put you in touch with my mom!)

* Ryley & Zoe *

Isn't she so precious? She reminds me of a little fairy!

Amy was working to get a Christmas picture here... didn't work out so well. Makes for a good laugh, though! They're such fun kids; I never get tired of being around them!

Chasing Fireflies

We're still driving, and I'm bored in the truck. So, naturally, I choose to browse children's clothing boutiques online!

I love the old-fashioned look of these first two dresses. So feminine!

This dress is simply adorable, but the little girl is even cuter! Oh my goodness.

And this one just makes me want to be at the beach soo badly! But I especially like the pale blue accents on this sweet dress.

Chasing Fireflies.

I came across this company last year when we got a magazine in the mail. Some of their designs I don't care for, but most of them are completely adorable! They let children dress as children... not as tiny supermodels!
Their baby outfits are so original... I love the bow right in front on this one! Although the baby would probably end up sucking on it all the time. :)
I don't normally like the look of a bubble dress, but for little girls it can be really cute and fresh. I'm crazy about this one!
I love bloomers! The little bows tied on the shoulder are very dainty, perfect for a little princess.
Just gorgeous. I'm not a huge fan of pink, but this dress is different! And I like the subtle bubble look.
Perfect shade of blue! And I like the lace; it makes this popular style a little out of the ordinary, and a tad more feminine.
Gotta say, the pants peeking out from underneath are amazing! It could be worn for fall and winter with the pants, and as a spring/early summer dress without. Reminds me of Little House with a modern twist!

Ryley

This is my nephew, Riley. Isn't he a cutie? What an energetic, entertaining little boy! He keeps the whole family on their toes, and is learning to be a helper for his mommy with baby Zarah. He is very into cell phones and computers, and generally knows how to work both pretty well. I just love this shot of him - he is so full of life!

John and David

I love these little guys so much! They stopped by my house this afternoon to drop off a box of "get well" things for us. :) Joel and I are going to spend the night at my parents' house for Christmas Eve... can't wait! This picture was taken last year.

Photo Editing

So, I've been messing around with Picnik, and I've decided that I like it better in some ways than Picasa, which is the photo editing program I usually use. This picture turned out pretty good, I think. :)
He's such a cute kid, though... doesn't really matter what kind of editing you do, it would still be good!

We Ran Away!

Joel and I ran away a couple days ago with some friends to a secret spot way out in the boonies.

There was a river there, where beavers had been hard at work! (Didn't catch any in action, sorry.)

It was a beautiful day for November! So warm, we walked around with out shoes off for a while.

I love this picture. It reminds me of the beach!

And this picture got thrown in for fun! Isn't Sam adorable?

And the three puppies! Wesley isn't really a puppy anymore, but sometimes he acts like one. They enjoyed the warm weather in our backyard by digging holes and having wrestling matches.
