Farm Walk

I was messing around with Joel's whip and Meg decided she had to have a picture. I guess there was something funny about a pregnant lady with a whip...
We are in love... and it's a crazy adventure!
Walking down Turtle Creek on the Eldredge farm. It was very slippery!
Megan, Kelsey, and Grace came along and we had a really fun evening!
Joel picked some dainty little flowers for me. =)

Duckies!

When we move out to the farm, I really hope we can get some ducklings!! I just love them... I mean, can you get more cute and innocent? And if we get a baby boy duck, he is totally going to be named Albert.

Around the farm lately

Joel with one of the new lambs! We currently have 20 :-)

There are about 30 sheep right now, including Ramses, our ram.

I think they're just too cute at this age! They make me so happy!

This is the area set up for the mothers and their little ones.

Thankfully, we've only had to bottle-feed one baby so far this year! Caspian is doing very well.

There are two silly puppies in the barn right now! They are for sale!!!

Blogging on the Road... SHEEP!

I took these photos when it was almost completely dark outside, so they didn't show up too well. But hopefully this will give you some idea of what Joel's flock looks like these days! A few days before leaving for WI, we went out to the farm and fixed up a new shelter area for the ewe's having babies! There are twin lambs, and boy are they adorable! Maybe there will be more new arrivals by the time we get home. :)

There are roughly 30 sheep, with several mommies about to pop!

You really can't see very well, but I got one of the lambs in this shot! She's so tiny!

Joel used the tractor to stack the round bales and make a nice shelter.

I am crazy in love with that farm boy!!

This is Ben. He was helping Joel to clear our house site when this picture was taken!

Third Day Farm Cousins Day Hike, second edition

The three "big boys". Hard to believe they are almost all grown up now!

We visited the old cemetery near our property. It was so beautiful and peaceful out in the woods - and there were leaves all over the ground that made a nice loud crunching sound when we all walked!

Gracie, posing by a very old headstone.

The ever-beautiful and entertaining Megan! I love that girl so much.

Joel standing next to the spring.

The Lord blessed us with an absolutely amazing day! What fun memories we will have to pass on to our kids someday!

Third Day Farm Cousins Day Hike

We all wore hats... they're all the rage out on our farm.

Joel and I on the "Green Horse"

Me, at the opening to the vulture cave. (It was empty this time)

Joel with the campfire he built for the kids to roast their hot dogs.

Alyssa, Me, and Joel... I think Joel has something in his mouth, lol.
There are more pictures coming! I stole this set from Megan (with permission, of course).
I have some from our camera, though. Those will be added tomorrow!
