Baby bunny has one eye open!!! :D

Pictures soon... I haven't been able to get out to the farm since my whasp sting.

Also! Joel took some photos of our house the other night, and I'm going to take more and then do a "Little Farmhouse Photo Shoot" post. :-)

Visit with the Midwife

So this morning I went to the chiropractor (ah, love it!) and then had a checkup with my midwife. =) Both of them are in Salem, so it worked out nicely! Joel and my mama came along too, which made it a fun trip!!
Guess what? We heard our baby's heartbeat!!! =D It was so exciting, and an emotional first experience for us! The baby is doing very well, and I am doing fine also. I'm supposed to work on relaxing and not letting myself stress out... =) Easier said than done, but I will work on it!
I am getting really excited for the Fourth of July coming up!! Can't believe how fast time is passing these days! We are set to move into our new house this weekend... =D I will post pictures!
The baby bunny is doing real well, and getting bigger every day. The eyes aren't open yet, but light brown and white fur is covering its cute little body! I meant to get pictures the other day, but ended up getting stung by a wasp that had made a nest in my rabbit hutch! =( So I'll have to do the photo session later this week.
Thanks to those of you who still check my blog from time to time... I realize it hasn't been very exciting lately. lol Hopefully once I move into my OWN HOUSE I'll be able to set aside a bit more time for blogging!

Baby Bunny

My girl rabbit, Fiona, gave birth to a very tiny, very pink baby bunny two days ago! It's a funny thing, one little guy all cuddled down in the big nest by itself. Mama is taking very good care of it, and I am pretty proud and happy! =)

Happy Father's Day

 I am very blessed to have a wonderful husband to be a father for our baby on the way! Joel is really good with kids, and is so excited that we will have our own little one before long!

And I am also very blessed with an amazing dad who raised me and who continues to be a great influence in my life! Daddy has always been a faithful, loving, fun leader of the family. =)

Dreams & Babies

Last night I dreamed that we had a baby girl with lots of dark hair (like Joel) and blue eyes (like me)! But the other night I also had a baby dream where a little boy brought me a cup and asked "Are you skilled at making chocolate milk?" =) 

Only God knows if we'll have a boy or a girl, but I know that it will be precious and will be loved like crazy!

Peach

That's our baby's current nickname. "Peach"... my siblings started calling him or her that when the pregnancy book said the baby was about the size of a peach. But that was a little while ago, and the nickname is still around, so I have a feeling it's gonna stick. Until we find out if it's a boy or a girl, and then everybody will be calling it by it's real name!! Can't wait =)

Thrifting

I really need to go thrift store shopping!! I am in that "in between" stage of pregnancy, where my regular clothes still fit but are getting a bit uncomfortable!

And Joel needs another pair of shorts... poor guy is roasting on these HOT days.

Today is grocery shopping day, though, and then off to work at three. Maybe later in the week I will get to go thrifting!

Duckies!

When we move out to the farm, I really hope we can get some ducklings!! I just love them... I mean, can you get more cute and innocent? And if we get a baby boy duck, he is totally going to be named Albert. 

Missing...

... I miss my sweet family! They're vacationing in Branson, and while I'm extremely happy that they get this chance, I want to be right with them and share in the family adventures.
